Join IGEL, the Gold Sponsor, at the vForum 2017 in Sydney
IGEL are proud to once again be sponsoring the vForum event in Sydney, this time as Gold Sponsors. The event has moved to Sydney’s purpose-built, state-of-the-art event centre the ICC, otherwise known as the International Conference Centre in Darling Harbour.
As in previous years, IGEL will team up with like-minded companies to offer MSPs, resellers and end-users a complete VDI experience including enhanced workforce mobility, better Windows 10 access, cloud and endpoint security, high-end graphics and multimedia capability and the pre-requisite video conferencing. In other words – a complete, advanced VDI solution that offers better management, better end-user experience and a more cost-effective deployment.
But wait there’s more… Following the success of IGEL’s 2017 Tesla giveaway…what? You missed that? Well, we gave away a Tesla P100D at VMworld in Las Vegas, after a year of travelling the world offering our friends the chance to go into the draw. So, in 2018 we are giving away another Tesla, the Tesla 3, and the first chance to get involved is by visiting the IGEL team at booth F7 at this year’s vForum! We will have a Tesla Model S (sorry no Tesla 3’s in Australia yet) on display at the booth, to whet your appetite somewhat for a car that is disrupting the automotive industry. The Tesla 3 looks to be even more disruptive with a price point that will make it available to the masses.
Why the Tesla, you may ask? Well, we happen to like big fast shiny cars that do very little to impact the environment, for one thing. But, more than that, the Tesla fits perfectly with our ethos. Think of the synergy – the world’s most advanced software-based vehicle, and the world-leading, software-driven virtual desktop infrastructure solutions. Perfect fit.
Our partners this year include Samsung, Lakeside Software, NVIDIA and Citrix. All companies work together to seamlessly offer a better, more complete, highly advanced VDI experience…VDI Simplified.
Are you aware that the IGEL UD Pocket is the world’s smallest endpoint? For today’s modern, mobile and flexible workforces, the UD Pocket is the perfect tool for bringing remote staff into the fold, allowing them all the benefits of a cloud-based computing experience simply by plugging the tiny device into a USB port. We’ll have a number of UD Pockets on the stand, and will be running demonstrations throughout the day.
IGEL CEO of North America and Global CMO Jed Ayres will be in town, and hosting our keynote speaking event. Jed will discuss how IGEL is beating Dell and HP with a software defined solution that makes it more cost effective to connect, manage and secure endpoints in a virtual infrastructure environment.
Do come and see us at the event – booth F7. Just be on the lookout for a shiny white Tesla out the front! And don’t forget to enter the drawing by completing this survey, www.igeltesla.com with code SYD17…of course you’ll have to watch a quick demo at our booth to qualify for the drawing, which by the way is being held at our headquarters in Germany at our DISRUPT event on January 18th. You don’t need to be present to win. Check out www.disrupteuc.com for more details. This world-class end-user computing forum will also be coming to Melbourne on March 14 and 15. Stay tuned for more details!
