CD8842/44 thin clients are equipped with proprietary AMD® Ryzen™ Embedded V1605B, quad-core processor with AMD “Vega” graphics core architecture (8CU) and up to 8GB DDR4 SO-DIMM dual-channel SDRAM memory to deliver high-end graphics and excellent computing performance for cloud computing and VDI applications. For users who have long term support requirements, the CD8842/44 Thin Clients’ processor is from AMD’s embedded roadmap. A feature-rich design provides six USB ports, four DisplayPorts, one SFP NIC that can be populated with Fiber or Copper SFP module, optional dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and integrated smart card reader on model CD8844, all in a small-form factor device.

The CD8842/44 Thin Client is available with ClearCube Cloud Desktop OS, IGEL® OS, Windows® 10 IoT, and Linux® operating systems.

Quad 4K Support

Supporting up to 4 monitors and delivering eye-popping, sharp, crisp images with 4K resolution, the CD8842 Thin Client is the perfect solution for demanding workflows and power users who need productivity-maximizing features and high-performance multimedia capabilities.

To deliver a faster, more interactive experience at the highest efficiency, PCoIP Ultra™ includes Teradici’s latest protocol enhancements, offering uncompromised 4K/UHD high frame rate content , sustained performance across multiple monitors, efficient scaling across multicore CPUs, and support for third-party codecs. PCoIP Ultra is available through a subscription to Teradici Cloud Access and Cloud Access Plus.
